How can a enterprise architect transition into PM role? What mindset change is required?

    In tech companies, having a background as an architect can be extremely valuable. The ability to speak confidently to the technical aspects of your products goes a long way in building trust with your customers and with your teams.     In short, you have to go from being a thinker to being a doer. The biggest mindset change is about learning when to stop with the analysis and transition into acting on things, in sometimes imperfect data coverage situation, and because of that imperfect coverage, how to experiment and iterate. Good news: it's doable, and I have seen folks succesfully making this transition. Good luck to you!

    Honestly, enterprise architects are already closer to being great PMs than most people realize. You understand how complex systems work, you deal with stakeholders all day, and you know how to make technical tradeoffs.
