One of the biggest mistakes is thinking influence is about more detail, more slides, or more dashboards. It’s not. I learned this the painful way. Influence comes from clarity and confidence.” Common pitfalls : Overloading with data Flooding leaders with metrics without framing the “so what.” Signal gets lost in noise. Speaking in ops language, not business language Talking about systems or process fixes without tying them to revenue, growth, retention, or margins....Remember "Big Picture". Brin ...Read More

I engage with the C-Suite as a thought partner & operator -focusing on shaping strategy and connecting operations to the company's vision. This happens in formal settings like strategy reviews, leadership offsites, quarterly planning and also informal quick touchpoints. My aim is to align on the big picture, bring the data/insights, offer solutions, and drive momentum on critical initiatives.  To add a bit more color, there are 3 buckets of type of engagements -  Strategic Alignment & Vi ...Read More

C-Suite exposure usually comes by doing solid work that ladders up, not by chasing the spotlight. I recommend taking the most organic path is: do the work well, show the impact in business terms, and contribute small but useful insights when you’re in the room. Make the most of every opportunity you get. 3 things that I could think of that doesn't feel forced - 1. Do your core job really well, then share the impact clearly  Execs want and notice folks who fix pain points that ripple up to them. ...Read More

"When two senior executives disagree, I remind myself that Ops isn’t here to play referee with yellow cards. We’re more like the scoreboard operator- our job is to show the score, the time left, and the rules of the game so the players can decide how to win.” How disagreements show up:This can look like two execs championing very different strategies - one pushing for aggressive growth investments, another pushing for tighter cost controls. Or it could be functional conflicts, like Sales wanting ...Read More

I am a firm believer that by quantifying impact, illustrating the cost of diluted efforts, and highlighting necessary trade-offs, RevOps empower the executive team to sharpen the focus areas! It’s not about saying ‘no’ ,it’s about saying ‘yes’ to the few things that matter most, help prioritize and endorse the critical initiatives that yield the greatest value. Here is how RevOps organization can help focus on the fewer big priorities: Anchor on impact in the Company’s North Star Metrics, not on ...Read More

If I could go back and give my younger self advice, it would be this: influencing the C-Suite isn’t about having all the answers - it’s about showing up with clarity, context, and confidence. Also, I would tell my younger self - "Be kind to yourself , have self-compassion - choose progress over perfection!" The lessons I have learned and I’d share: Lead with the “so what”  Leaders don’t want every data point. They want the signal. Younger me tried to over-explain; now I have learned to  connect ...Read More
