Sr. Product Marketing Manager
Pendo.ioLondon, UK - March 28, 2024

Team Description

  • The Pendo Product Marketing team tells the story of Pendo products. Each PMM is responsible for the positioning, story, general GTM, market / comp intel, and sales and marketing health of the product(s) they own. Product Marketing at Pendo is an extremely cross-functional role. We are part of the Product Team and partner closely with Marketing, ProdOps, Marketing, Sales, and more.
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and results-oriented Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our product marketing efforts across EMEA. This person will be responsible for helping develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for our EMEA audiences and be a key driver of our international revenue growth. You will be the in-region product & buyer expert for Pendo in EMEA, dedicated to helping differentiate and grow Pendo’s business in the region. Based in the UK, this role will report into the US-based Product Marketing team and partner extremely closely with the EMEA Sales and Marketing teams.

Role Responsibilities

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded product marketer with proven experience. We’re looking for a candidate that can set the regional product marketing strategy, as well as roll up their sleeves and execute. This individual will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for building relationships across sales, marketing, and product. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter and team player with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities. Your expertise, initiative, strategic approach, and resourcefulness will be fundamental in enhancing Pendo’s visibility, market leadership, and innovation across the market.

  • Be the Pendo expert in the region with a deep understanding of the messaging, content, products, and competitive landscape. Adapt Pendo’s global messaging and content for the EMEA market, target buyers and industries, and partner with local teams to implement in the region.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive growth in our key geographies in EMEA — including reporting on how we’re tracking towards goals, determining which levers are most important based on that data, executing on those prioritized opportunities, and evolving the strategy based on market response.

  • Research, develop, and deploy regional value propositions and narrative messaging targeted at local users to be activated into content, campaigns, and sales engagements.

  • Develop regional sales enablement plans, adapting or creating region-specific sales plays, sales content and tools, and driving the adoption of products in the region

  • Identify and act on key differences between North American and EMEA-based target audiences and competitors.

  • Partner closely with the EMEA sales team to help them surpass their targets — including building out materials like presentations and one-pagers, and enabling the sales team to use them effectively.

  • Develop and execute regional go-to-market plans for new product launches and sales programs, including target customer segments, positioning strategies, and messaging frameworks.

  • Support the ongoing go-to-market marketing strategy for the region; partner with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, and other teams to align on ideal messaging, product priorities, and positioning approach.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing at B2B SaaS companies

  • Creative thinker with an affinity for a fast-paced work environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional teamwork and influencing skills, with the ability to work with others cross-functionally and at all levels within the organization.

  • Ability to conduct regional, market, competitor, and customer research to gather insights and assess regional market opportunities, linking them to global campaign themes and goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong program and relationship management capabilities.

  • Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and projects with precision.

  • Proficiency in German and/or French is a plus

  • Experience with product analytics, digital experience management, and/or digital adoption platforms is a plus

  • Experience marketing/selling to customers in the financial services, business services and high tech industries is a plus
