AI has been helpful in a few areas: Content. This is obvious: content throughput is much faster. But refining that content still takes as much, if not more, time as pre-ChatGPT. AI gives leverage but you still need to understand what good writing looks like and what good writing for your audience looks like. Doing real things will help a lot more than a certificate (plus a lot more fun). Start becoming a power user of an AI tool. It doesn't even have to be directly related to PMM.

Vibecode an app with Claude Code or Cursor, try to get AI to create writing that sounds like you, generate images that satisfy you just a bit more than quickly-generated images. Or combine all of this together to build and market a side project: you'll learn more about AI tools and the craft of iterating to go from 0 to 1.

Others captured the value of always-on competitive: real-time updates on the competitor and market (hourly, not monthly) has been helpful to create stories that are fresh and relevant. Being super aware of the market, whether that's through AI tooling to retrieve more updates or scrolling yourself on tech social spaces, helps write content that wins: you're really speaking the exact words and lingo that are top of mind for them. AI is a valuable thought partner. As of early 2026, it's still a bit sycophantic, yes, but with the right prompts, you can get AI to meaningfully critique and coach your own work. Something like "you are an expert in agent frameworks, deeply aware of developer frustrations and nuances (given you are a top 1% developer yourself); push back and rigorously analyze this content to see if it will be well received by devs like you".
