What is the best approach to get feedback on a new Minimum Viable Product (MVP)?

    I think the minimum viable approach to MVP feedback would Beta programs or limited release priority user programs where the user is under NDA and can provide product feedback that you can iterate off of.

    I tend to like to do some research in advance to find target use cases and areas that users might want out of the product so that you can build a better MVP, and then study dogfood/beta/trusted tester program usage, but that's budget and time dependent.

    This answer really depends on your company's operating model. If you are in enterprise software, then the best approach would be to go to the beta or early adopter customers of the MVP to get their feedback. This is often done alongside product management and happens at various stages in their adoption (e.g. at requirements gathering, pre-implementation, during implementation, 3 months after, etc).     To gather feedback on the MVP, target early adopters. Before you do that, make sure you define clear objectives around the assumptions you are testing – is it pricing, product usability, or your value proposition? The best time to test it is during the BETA stage, before officially launching the product.
