    I develop PMMs with the same mindset I bring to product marketing itself: clarity of scope, progression through mastery, and deliberate cross-functional exposure. Segmenting PMM roles upfront. PMM isn't one job, I segment PMM roles based on business model and product complexity.     In addition to the goal-setting process I outlined in another question, we use company-provided resources to facilitate development conversations and roadmaps. These resources include a career progression chart with expected scope and impact at every job level and access to curated online courses for developing specific skills.     Develop as in... "grow"?

    Well, that Non negotiable: leaders help their team grow  :)

    People learn and grow with new experiences. I like doing that by giving people stretch goals, have a quarterly growth check-in, and assign major/ minor projects (90/10). Plus do a monthly lunch n learn with the whole team.
