Honestly, my focus isn't so much on following up after a report is built, but rather on deep discovery before I even start building. If a stakeholder isn't using a report, 99% of the time it's because the report doesn't actually solve the core problem they were trying to address (or couldn't effectively communicate at the time), even if it matches their initial request.
