What's the hardest part of leading operations at the VP level that nobody warns you about?

    I think there are a few things that are hard as you get more senior in any role, not just revenue operations.1. It can be a lonely job. Everyone else on your team has peers within the team so they can commiserate, share frustrations more openly (about you, among other things), work together, etc. I have responsibility for 45 people on my team, but also the authority to fire/promote/reassign and so on which means you're the only one at the end of the day.
