Market Research I use AI tools to compress the time from raw information to actionable insight. For example: Perplexity + Gemini: I’ll feed in a new Gartner or Forrester report and have them generate a structured digest of key themes, vendor mentions, and emerging buzzwords. Gemini tends to be stronger at pulling in live web data and giving me quick fact-based answers, while Perplexity is better at stitching together citations across sources. Claude: When I drop in a 50-page PDF analyst report, ...Read More

I track competitor pricing pages, solution pages, and blog category pages. When something changes, I run the diff through Claude and ask one ...Read More

Great answers here. One thing I'd add that nobody has touched on yet: the tool matters less than the workflow design around it. I work at an enterprise AI company, so I probably use these tools more aggressively than most PMMs. Here is what I have learned: Market Research: I use Claude for heavy document analysis (analyst reports, earnings transcripts, regulatory filings) and Perplexity for quick fact-checking and triangulation. But the real unlock was building a repeatable process, not just pic ...Read More
