Do you share GTM plans to people outside of product marketing for approval? If so, who?

    Yes. GTM cannot live only in product marketing because execution sits across the company. But, I wouldn't frame it as “approval” though, more like alignment and clarity on the right motions.     April's functional list is the right starting point. What I'd add is the distinction between "approval" and "alignment," because the framing matters for how these conversations actually go. I stopped using the word "approval" internally about three years ago. When you ask for approval, you create two dynamics you don't want: stakeholders feel entitled to change the plan, and you signal that PMM doesn't own the decision.
