    PMMs should own customer interviews and customer stories — this gives you direct access to customer language and pattern recognition without depending on sales to grant access. One hack I think is really important and I'm surprised everyone doesn't do it: PMM should be the primary source of conducting all customer interviews and putting together all customer stories — whether that's video or a blog post.
