    Nothing beats actually talking to customers. You can have all the dashboards and surveys in the world, but there’s no substitute for getting out in the field and hearing firsthand customers problems and how they talk about the solutions.     The great thing about the PMM role is that it's exposed to both the product, the commercial teams, and the customers.     What I've found is that the most impactful feedback loops aren’t defined by the channel, but by how clearly they connect customer pain to product decisions. Direct customer conversations are always the strongest input, especially when product teams can hear them firsthand.
