Thank you for asking this - leveraging AI in our day-to-day work is becoming increasingly important. One of the simplest ways I use AI is for transcribing and taking notes during meetings - Zoom’s built-in transcription, for example, helps capture discussions in real time. This saves time by instantly summarizing key points, so you don’t have to synthesize notes manually afterward. I’ve also started experimenting with uploading meeting summaries and decisions into ChatGPT to help draft clear nex ...Read More

One way AI can make cross-functional alignment easier is by helping you cut down the time it takes to build an evidence-backed point of view. As PMMs know, alignment often hinges on how you frame your messaging strategy and whether you can substantiate it with strong customer insights. In fact, I asked one of the members on my team to develop the "AI-Marketer's Playbook" here at Cyera. The playbook contains all of the ways that Marketing can use AI to be successful. Within it, includes a library or pro ...Read More

AI is currently more useful for preparation and synthesis than for actual stakeholder influencing. We use AI similarly for consolidating notes and summarizing feedback. For example, we recently conducted a field survey with lots of anecdotal feedback and used AI to synthesize the results. However, I'm skeptical about AI taking over complex cross-functional planning and stakeholder negotiations anytime soon. If AI could handle complicated executive influencing sessions, we might all be out of job ...Read More

I use AI primarily as an efficiency tool rather than directly for influencing, focusing on meeting documentation and content improvement. I leverage AI to record, transcribe, and analyze conversations, whether they're with AEs about deals or gathering feedback on naming or other initiatives. I use a notebook LLM to dump transcriptions and then ask questions to extract insights. This helps me work more efficiently by quickly summarizing discussions and identifying common themes across multiple co ...Read More
